Tretinoin is a God-send. It works extraordinarily well. I use it in combination with Cetaphil Healing Ointment to ensure skin is properly moisturized and desensitized from the drying effectives of t...he Tretinoin. It has a cumulative effect so if you don’t see immediate results be patient. 1. Use exfoliating rub 2. Dry face 3. Apply Tretinoin (allow absorption to complete) 4. Take a small glob of Cetaphil Healing Ointment, rub into palms and then apply to entire face to achieve a thin full-coverage layer. 5. Enjoy your smooth, non-oily skin in the morning. In some cases you may have to wipe off excess Cetaphil since it is 70% petroleum jelly (yes it sounds counter intuitive to use the Cetaphil but it works.
